Why Am I Running?

I am pleased to announce that I am a candidate for the Utah State Legislature in District 38.

I am running because I believe the residents in Legislative District 38 deserve a strong principled leader, working for your interest.

As one who works to make our community livable and appealing to all that live and visit, I have kept one very important belief in the forefront of my thoughts and actions - that as an elected official, I work and represent the residents of our community. In doing so, I have always remained conscious of the fact I hold myself to a higher standard and thus I subscribe to the belief that leaders must be principled in our conduct, whether it is within or outside our community.

As your Legislator, I am committed to administering responsible, transparent, and open government. I will continue to work to enhance educational opportunities, promote our local economy, protect our environment and advance public safety.

I expect this will be a vigorous campaign and I will need the help of as many people as possible to secure a win in November. Along the way, I will need significant financial support.
